Jannie Giles suffered a severely broken leg while working horses on April 16. She was transferred to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif., where a top orthopedic surgery and joint replacement trauma team performed a four and a half hour surgery.
ÒDoctors told Jannie that the surgery could not have gone better and that their post-op diagnosis was very positive,Ó said Peter Fenton. Giles will now undergo physical therapy at her home in Murietta for the next six to eight weeks.
