Jane Hartmeyer Ginther Injured

Jane Hartmeyer Ginther of Hartmeyer Saddlery was seriously injured last week when a horse reared up and fell on her. She endured critical chest injuries, including a detached bronchial tube and a punctured lung. Jane is currently hospitalized at Ball Hospital, Muncie, Ind., in the ICU where she is in serious condition. While Jane’s injuries are serious, hopes are high for her recovery, thanks in part to several people who were close by when the accident occurred, including an OR nurse who was at the barn and able to administer oxygen.
