Indy Charity Update

Officials of the upcoming Indianapolis Charity Horse Show just released this announcement. They want exhibitors to know that the Indiana State Fairgrounds owns their own stalls, which have not been used for another equine event since April 11. Additionally, Sandra Norman DVM, the Director for Companion Animal/Equine Division of the Indiana State Board of Animal Health had this to say. “At this time, Indiana has had no positive cases of EHM or EHV-1 that they are investigating and no quarantines are in place. There are no travel restrictions in IL, IN and Ohio at this time.”

Dr. Norman continues to monitor the national equine health situation daily from her offices at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

  • Address Change Announced to Honor WC Wing Commander

    In 2012, a new road was built at the Kentucky Horse Park leading from Iron Works Parkway past the sculpture of Supreme Sultan by Patricia Crane. That road was named Wing Commander Way in honor of the iconic American Saddlebred, CH Wing Commander.  Read More
