Indianapolis Charity to Return to the Toyota Blue Ribbon Pavilion

Plans are underway for the 2011 edition of the Indianapolis Charity Horse Show to be held June 1-4, 2011. Peter Fenton will again serve very capably as manager of the show and, other than the judges yet to be announced, the other personnel will remain the same.

As the Board of Commissioners of the Indiana State Fair Event Center have elected again to host many high school graduation ceremonies in the Pepsi Coliseum the same dates of the horse show, we will again have the show ring in the Toyoto Blue Ribbon Pavillion. We will be able to make the show ring longer and will make some modifications to the set-up we had in 2010 to better accommodate our trainers and exhibitors.

We were pleased that the new venue in 2010 had a 95 percent approval rating from the trainers and exhibitors. We had some World’s Grand Champion horses and ponies exhibit in the new building and ring in 2010 and were pleased that they had faith we would and could devise a safe venue for them.

We realize that the use of this Toyoto Blue Ribbon Pavillion is not show management nor our trainers and exhibitors preferred show ring arrangement, but we were pleased with the success of last year’s show and look forward to the 2011 show being even bigger and better.

The host hotel will be the Sheraton Hotel and Suites at Keystone at the Crossing which is adjacent to a wonderful shopping mall. This hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms are extremely attractive and comfortable.

We all look forward to greeting the stables that have supported this show for so many years and invite stables that have not shown here to attend the 2011 show and experience our warm hospitality and wonderful facility.
