HyLee Farm Production And Consignment Sale



On October 31, HyLee Farm is holding its second production auction and this year has 40 head of which 28 are outside consignments. There are outside consignments from Wingait Farm, clients from Stonehedge Stable, Rustic View Morgans, Boxford, Kohler Stable, North Star Stables, Robin and Dale Becklin, and Westwood Farm. There is a very diverse selection of horses: some top English Pleasure horses, some exceptional western horses, hunters, there are 6 select yearlings, mares in foal (2 in foal to a Friesian stallion), some very nice prospects in the 2-3 year old age group started in their training and also some very nice well broke horses ready to go, child safe and have been ridden on the trail.

It is a very nice grouping of horses, all of which are in good condition. Check on www.HyLeeFarm.com for updates on the horses consigned and motel information. The sale starts at 11AM on Halloween Saturday, and there will be some special "Tricks or Treats" in store for the successful bidders.

            The 114th World’s Championship Horse Show got underway Saturday night, August 19 with 89 teams competing in the opening session. As tradition dictates it was County Fair night with seven championships held.
