The Humanitarians Prepare For The Blue Ribbon Trail

The 2006 Humanitarian Society's Challenge of Champions World Class Charity Horse Show has been organized and will be on the “blue ribbon trail”
November 9-11, 2006. This year they will celebrate the 5th and 6th year, because last year’s hurricane forced the show to be cancelled. However, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever with trainers and riders from all over the country.

There will be dog shows and other surprises for the general public. Admission to the show is FREE and you will witness riders on their beautiful American Saddlebreds and Morgans like you have never seen before and make you feel like you are in Kentucky. The Avenue of Shops will have something for everyone. Additional vendors for the Avenue of Shops are welcome, for anyone interested.

The Challenge of Champions will be held at the beautiful Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club ("Stadium Jumping, Inc.") in Wellington, Florida. The twice-daily horse show sessions will start at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

The chairmen for this magnificent event are again Dr. Wayne T. Moses, Louis J. Labadini and Bonnie Peck-Phillips. The committee is comprised of Lynn & Kenneth McColl, Pam Leon, Matt & Shari Carfi, Paul Perone, Jane Romano, Frank & Betty Rozzo, Gail Boyd, Frank Waters (announcer), Andrea Colombino & Tina Schaefer. Anyone wishing to serve on the committee should call any of the above individuals.

There will be wonderful box seats and premium box seats. On Friday night (November 10) at the Exhibitors’ Party there will also be chocolate (white, dark and milk chocolate) fountains with all kinds of goodies to dip. The price for the Exhibitors’ Party will be $15.00. During the three days and evenings there will be concessions for food and drinks.

The show manager is Ray Cloninger, celebrating his 6th year with The Humanitarian Society's Challenge of Champions World Class Charity Horse Show.

Sponsorships are always welcome. For further information, vendor space or financial commitments & sponsors call The Humanitarian Society, Inc. at (561) 362-8530.
