Help Christopher Bernard Rebuild Morgan Collection
Thursday, February 8, 2007
On January 28, 2007 Maria Bernard’s (of Black Lake Run Farm) house caught on fire and everything was destroyed. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but much was lost. Fourteen-year-old Christopher Bernard, well known by many in the Morgan world, lost everything. The fire started in his room and completely torched everything. Christopher lost a Boxer puppy, two birds, his saddle suit, and his complete shrine of Morgan horses. Chris lost all of his show pictures and pictures of his favorites like Man in Motion, Born to Boogie, and Nobility, just to name a few. In addition to losing pictures, he has also lost every single ribbon he has ever won from Mason Dixon to the Grand National.
If anyone could help Chris rebuild his collection including pictures, coolers, or ribbons, it would be greatly appreciated. Chris has clothes and necessities, but he doesn’t have any of his show stuff. To Christopher, Morgan horses mean everything. If anyone could send some pictures you might have of him or his favorite horses, it would mean more than the world to him. We could not think of a better place to help rebuild his irreplaceable collection than his beloved friends from the Morgan world. Any help is greatly appreciated. We just didn't know where else to go to regain all he has lost. Thank you.
