Hart to Hart Stables Busy With Sales



Hart to Hart Stables owned by Wyatt and Christine DeHart reported lots of sales activity over the last few months from their Finchville, Ky., location.

Sandy Henson purchased Gypsy’s Holy Smokes to be shown in the five-gaited division. Gypsy’s Holy Smokes will remain under the guidance of DeHart. Two others to remain with Hart To Hart include Bully Boy who was sold to Merle and Mary Hoff for the five-gaited division and Sir York’s First Edition who was purchased by Lynn Harvey McNamara, also for the five-gaited division.

The gaited horse Pretty Ghoul was purchased by Gretchen and Phil Stanislov and is now under the guidance of Vickie Vogel of Grimes, Iowa. Princess In Training was purchased by Sally Graf of Clive, Iowa, for the pleasure division and is also with Vickie Vogel.

With Jim McIntosh as trainer/agent Dr. Stephanie Wright of Indianapolis, Ind., bought That Sashy Thing for the three-gaited division. Gotta Secret was purchased by Florence Merkin Trust of Whirlworth Wis.,to be shown in the Park division. Joe and Patricia Morgan bought Bold Magic for the Walk and Trot division. Both these horses are now in training with Peter Archer at White Oaks Farm.

Monaco’s Majesty will be shown in the five-gaited division under the direction of Mark Greenwell for new owner Ben McDaniel.

Show prospect, Thunder Over Manhattan was purchased by Kathy Snyder. Thunder Over Manhattan is presently in training with Mike Hylton of Ventura Stables.

With Mike Roberts as trainer/agent Max Kaplan purchased world’s champion Boxford Courageous Spirit for the juvenile road pony division. Rounding out the sales list Clark Clouse selected Hartfelt Legacy for new owner Elmo Greer for the five -gaited division.
