Do you have a special friend, relative or spouse who is hard to buy for? Consider making a donation to Saddlebred Rescue Inc. in that person’s name. Saddlebred Rescue Inc. is a 501 3c non-profit organization dedicated to keeping Saddlebreds, Hackneys and Morgans from going to slaughter. T he horses are thoroughly evaluated and placed in new homes in lesson programs or as personal pleasure horses throughout the country. To date approximately 250 horses have been saved from an untimely death. Not only are these horses saved from slaughter, they are helping to raise awareness of our breed with the public who are coming in for riding lessons. These horses are helping to ensure the future of the breed.
When you send your donation to Saddlebred Rescue Inc., 4 Westview Dr., Blairstown, NJ 07825, a card will be sent to the honoree indicating that a donation has been made in his/her name, and by whom.
