Hall of Famer Charles D. Smith Passes




A 2018 UPHA Tom Moore Hall of Fame recipient and 2017 inductee into the World’s Championship Horse Show Hall of Fame, Charles D. Smith passed away over the weekend after suffering a stroke.

Beginning with his 13-year stint with Randolph Farm in Clearwater, Florida, Smith had a long and storied career with many great horses and riders. A few of his highlights included CH The Phoenix, Spencer County, Bomb’s Echo, 20th Century Fox, Cedar Creek Farewell, Rhythm N Jazz and many more.
