Grove Pointe Celebrates The Holidays

by Diana Davidson

Tim and Kim Roesink hosted a fun-filled holiday party at Grove Pointe Stables in Hebron, Ohio on Dec. 1, 2007. The chilly weather and holiday decorations adorning the barn inside and out certainly put everyone into a festive mood. Clients and friends from near and far came to celebrate the holiday season and reflect on the great success and memories of 2007.

Everyone caught up in the morning over coffee and croissants while the Grove Pointe staff prepared 22 horses for the presentation. Surrounded by Christmas trees Kim Roesink took the stage as the entertaining emcee for the presentation. Everyone enjoyed watching many of the top champions from the 2007 Grove Pointe show string along with a host of youngsters who look certain to be taking their place on victory lane in 2008. There wasn’t a dull moment as in between the horse presentations, Kim Roesink posed amusing questions to the audience titled “How Well Do You Know Your Trainer?” with the winners earning Grove Pointe embroidered prizes.

After the crowd-pleasing presentation of horses concluded, a few more special awards of both the amusing and heartfelt variety were presented with Laura Braddock, Ann Hailey, Penny Cochran, Amanda McHattan, Carolyn Gibbard, Barbara Lindauer, Nancy Hendricks and Tim Roesink taking home the honors. The day concluded with a delicious dinner and the opening of presents, much to the delight of the youngsters and the young-at-heart.
