Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show Update



Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show Secretary Peggy Hatfield has announced that the show program has gone to press with 1167 horses pre-entered in the upcoming show. This year promises to be another exciting event for the show to be held in Oklahoma City on October 5-12.

Among the many special events planned during this year's show, several "Legends of the Past" will return to Oklahoma City for an encore presentation on Friday evening. This event promises to be an exciting trip down memory lane.

Here are some interesting facts about this year's entries. The oldest horse entered is 23 years old. There are 723 bay horses and 277 chestnut horses entered. The sire with the most entries is Futurity French Command with 34 followed by Tug Hill Whamunition with 27 and HVK Bell Flaire with 24. The mare with the most entries is Carlyle Ten with 5.
