Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show Update



Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show Manager Fern Bittner has announced that the show program has gone to press with 1165 horses pre-entered in the upcoming show. This year promises to be another exciting event for the show to be held in Oklahoma City on October 6-13.

The new Ladies Amateur to Ride classes seem to have been a huge hit with exhibitors. The English Pleasure Ladies Amateur Geldings has 15 while the open Ladies Geldings continues to be strong with 13 entered. The mare division is also impressive with 11 amateur and 12 open entries. In the Hunter Pleasure Ladies division, 21 plan to show in the Hunter Pleasure Ladies Amateur Geldings with 24 in the Open Hunter Pleasure Ladies Gelding class. The hunter mare division comes in with 14 amateur entries and 12 open entries. One of the largest classes of the show will be the Western Pleasure Ladies Amateur Geldings with 37 horses entered. The open ladies geldings will be 28 strong as well as the mare division with 13 amateur lady entries and 15 open lady entries.
