Giselle Honored as UPHA Co-Harness Pony of the Year

Owner Karen Waldron had a great year in 2012 with her athletic harness pony Giselle, who is sired by Mark Of Excellence and out of My Sweet Georgia Brown by Vindicator. Under the direction of trainer Larry Ella, Giselle captured the 2012 Harness Pony World’s Grand Championship for the second year in a row for Bent Tree Farm Ltd.

That win, as part of a very successful season that also included titles from Lexington Junior League and All American Horse Classic, helped make Giselle the UPHA Open Harness Pony Of The Year as co-winner of the award. Giselle and Bent Tree Farm were recognized at the UPHA Convention in Las Vegas at the Friday evening awards dinner where the UPHA Horse/Pony Of The Year Divisional Awards were presented.
