Giles and Fenton Enjoying Move To California

Posted April 23, 2002
Jannie Giles and Peter Fenton are settling into their new location in California from their native New England. Giles moved west to take over the manager/trainer position for Campbell and Campbell, the show horse division for JRC Equestrian Estate LLC in Murrieta, California. The farm is located on 25 acres in the hills of La Cresta, a 3000 acre equestrian community 45 minutes north of San Diego. Completely irrigated, the facility features 17 stalls with multiple turnouts and beautiful green pasture.

Campbell and Campbell will accept a small, select group of outside training horses that will join a very nice string of American Saddlebreds and Friesians. The American Saddlebreds include Rick Daigle's top gaited geldings The Big Dance and He's Too Much, the top winning park performers Too Far North and Clove, as well as some promising youngsters by Buck’s Co-Star. The Friesian lineup includes Mainse, Kiempe, Thiadmer and Robin ut de Warren.

Both the American Saddlebreds and the Friesian horses are being prepared to show throughout the west coast as well as being shipped east for shows and exhibitions. Fenton continues his busy schedule announcing shows from coast to coast including the American Saddlebred World's Championship and the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show. Giles, Fenton and the horses are enjoying the beautiful weather and the warm reception they have received from the area trainers in southern California.
