Gerald Wayne Anness Passes Away



After a long battle with many health issues Gerald Wayne Anness passed away peacefully on Monday, January, 19, 2009 at The Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (Ella) of 44 years. Adored father of Cheryl Santarossa and her husband Steve. Cherished grandpa of Shauna and Jennifer. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Wanda and her husband Al Stevenson, mother-in-law Doreen Ella, brother-in-law Larry Ella and his wife Diane, nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home,  7776 Kipling Avenue, (at Hwy. 7), Woodbridge, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. immediately followed by a reception in the lounge. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Association would be appreciated by the family.
