Georgia International Horse Park Announces Expansion Program

The Georgia International Horse Park has announced that it has selected the developer who will be in charge of building an additional 230 stalls at the facility. Construction on the new barns will begin soon with completion planned by March 2007.

This expansion will give the facility a total of 690 stalls under permanent roof with electrical and water supply in place. One of the barns will house temporary stalls that can be removed so the multi-purpose building may be used for additional events like dog shows, sporting events, craft shows, trade shows, small music events, job fairs and a variety of events when not being utilized by the horse shows.

The Georgia International Horse Park is the current site for The Dixie Cup Spring Classic and Southeastern Charity Horse Show.
