Gasparilla Charity Horse Show To Be Held In 2009

The Tampa Bay Horse Show Association (TBHSA), the managing parent of the Gasparilla Charity Horse Show, announced that the award winning Gasparilla Charity Horse Show (GCHS) will be held at the Florida State Fairgrounds’ indoor arena again in 2009. In an effort to streamline the Sunshine Circuit, representatives from both TBHSA and the Tampa Horse Show Association have agreed to alternate years that they manage the annual show. Next year, 2008, will be managed by the THSA and Tampa Charity Horse Show will be held.
“The current economy is affecting all shows,” said Joanne B. Quade, horse show manager and chairperson. “Since both organizations have a long history in presenting top quality horse shows, we felt that this would be the best solution and that each show would be able to retain its identity and history,” concluded Quade.
