Gasparilla Charity Changes Host Hotel

Due to the fact that the Four Points Sheraton Hotel is no longer open, the Gasparilla Charity Horse Show has had to make changes in their reservation hotels for the Feb. 2002 show. The new host hotel will be the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Sabel Park, which is on the opposite side of the fairgrounds and about three miles from there.
The standard room rate at the hotel is $95.00 per night and there are NO pets allowed. It is a full service hotel with restaurant and bar. All reservations must be received prior to Jan. 20, 2002 in order to guarantee the rate. Second choice is the Marriott Residence Inn, which is diagonally across the street from the Crowne Plaza. Rooms are available at the rate of $109.00 per night, studio or one bedroom suites. Two bedroom suites are available for $149.00 per night. These suites have a complete kitchen and they DO allow pets at a fee of $100.00. Also new this year, Five Gaited Equitation will be added to the class schedule.
