Gale A. Bennett, age 78 of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Mr. Bennett was born on July 29, 1928 in Lone Jack, MO to the late Merle and Margaret (Bynum) Bennett. He later retired from Sprint and was a renowned horseman. Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Betty, three sons, Steve, John and his wife Debbie, and Terry and his wife Marty; three grandsons, Steven, Scott and Jamie; and four great granddaughters.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17th from 1 to 2PM with the funeral service following at 2 PM at the Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit. Burial will follow the funeral at the Long Jack Cemetery in Lone Jack, MO.
