Futurities, Sweepstakes Grace Period Deadline February 10



 

Lexington, Ky. ­– The grace period deadline for American Saddlebred Registry Futurities and Sweepstakes payments as well as Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old new Sweepstakes nominations is Saturday, February 10.

 

All payments and/or nominations must be postmarked or faxed to the American Saddlebred Registry office on or before February 10.

 

Yearlings (2006 foals) may be nominated to the Three-Year-Old Sweepstakes and three-year-olds (foaled in 2004) may be nominated to the Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes.  Nomination forms can be downloaded on the Association’s Sweepstakes homepage at http://www.asha.net/Prize-Sweepstakes.  

 

In the 2006 Sweepstakes, prize money was distributed as follows: Two-Year-Old Sweepstakes - $39,355; Three-Year-Old Sweepstakes - $87,508; Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes - $45,959. 

 

The American Saddlebred Registry Futurities awarded $250,786 at the 2006 Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville
