Funeral Arrangements for Frank McConnell



UPHA Hall of Fame trainer Frank McConnell passed away last night, September 25. His health had not been good as of late.

McConnell, his former wife Nancy, and son Pat were a longtime training team at a few different locations including the Rock Creek Riding Club. Some of his top horses included The Marquee, Suncatcher, Matchpoint, Mini Griggs, Irish Shamrock and Northern Dancer, to name a few.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m, until the funeral hour on Monday October 1, 2012 at Shannon Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday October 1, 2012 at
Shannon Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday October 1, 2012 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
