Six-generation harness man David Freedman has opened a boutique in the heart of the bluegrass, Midway, Ky., just outside of Lexington. The manufacturing and home company will remain in Toronto, Canada where Freedman is the third generation to operate the family business.
Nicole Dreher will manage the Kentucky store that will offer a full array of saddles, bridles, tail sets, harness and accessories. Home furnishings including leather furniture and cowhide rugs are also available as well as the famed Freedman travel bags and handbags.
“This has been in the making for many years. The time was right,” said Freedman.

“All the manufacturing will remain in Toronto but a full line of products will be available in the new store. We will also offer weekly repair service from the Kentucky store.”
