Florida Breeder Sondra Moll Dies

Longtime owner and breeder Sondra Moll died this past Friday, October 7, 2005 following a battle with cancer. Owner of Emerald View Stables in Okeechobee, Fla., she had been hospitalized since August.

A mainstay in Missouri for many years before moving to Florida, Moll was responsible for standing several world’s champion-producing stallions and breeding many top horses. Her most recent star was Miracle On Forty-Second Street (Forty-Second Street x Secret Shadow), the outstanding World’s Champion Two-Year-Old Fine Harness Mare driven by John Willis for Willis and Ted Klint.

A complete tribute to Moll will appear in Saddle Horse Report.
