First Timer Ribbons Requests to be Filled by October 1

If you were not able to pick up your First Timer Ribbons at the 2012 Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show, contact Michelle Krentz at the American Saddlebred Horse Association to receive your ribbon in early October.

Thanks to the initiative of American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Board Member, Randy Cates, and the generous sponsorship from World Champion Horse Equipment, ASHA and the United Professional Horsemen’s Association (UPHA) inaugural ribbons were presented to nearly 160 “first timer” trainers and exhibitors on Tuesday evening at the 2012 World’s Championship Horse Show.

The inaugural year ribbon is a way to recognize those trainers and exhibitors who exhibited or trained a horse that showed at Louisville for the first time. A first time trainer is an individual who is signing the entry blank as trainer for the first time. An exhibitor is anyone showing in the ring for their first time or for their first time in the last 20 years either under saddle, driving, or in hand.

Please contact Michelle Krentz by email at [email protected] with your name, address, and phone number as soon as possible to be added to the list. Ribbons will be sent out on or before Monday, October 1, 2012.
