First Saddlebred on Cover of Dressage Publication

Harry Callahan and Chrissa Hoffman

Harry Callahan (Supreme Heir X Make My Day) is currently featured on the cover of the December 2005 issue of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Connection magazine. The 7 year old American Saddlebred gelding is owned by Linda Cawthon of Louisville, Kentucky and trained by Chrissa Hoffmann, a USDF Gold Medalist, at Full Circle Dressage located in Pendleton, Kentucky.

“Harry” is a much-decorated ambassador for American Saddlebred versatility having earned the following awards in 2004: USDF All Breeds American Saddlebred Second Level Open Champion, Kentucky Dressage Association Second Level Open Champion, and American Saddlebred Horse Association Second Level Open Champion

Chrissa Hoffmann and American Saddlebreds and Morgans trained at Full Circle Dressage appear in an article about non-traditional breeds being used for Dressage. Harry is the first American Saddlebred to be featured on the cover of the USDF Connection, a monthly magazine sent to the USDF's 45,000 members. He can be seen at USDF Connection.
