Final Deadline Approaching for ASHA Board Suggestions



Lexington, Kentucky - The final day to submit board member candidate suggestions to the Nominating Committee of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) is this Friday, September 11.

Please send suggestions to ASHA in care of Charlotte Tevis, by fax to (859) 259-1628, or by email to c.tevis@asha.net , no later than Friday, September 11. If members prefer, they should contact the members of the Nominating Committee directly at any time, as follows: Margaret McNeese, Nancy Boone, Barbara Molland, Shirley Trail or Art Zubrod.

The duty of the Nominating Committee is to prepare recommendations for ASHA directors to be elected to three-year terms beginning in February 2010. The committee has directed ASHA staff to undertake all possible means to solicit suggestions from the membership, including by email and publishing releases in Saddlebred media. In addition, all suggestions received during previous years have been forwarded to this year’s committee.
