FASH 2012 Spring Horse Show Announces Judges



The FASH show committee wishes to invite all to attend its 31st FASH Spring Horse Show held May 10-13, 2012 in the Warner Coliseum at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, St. Paul, MN. The show is USEF A-rated for both Saddlebreds and Morgans and B-rated for Hackney Ponies. Exhibitors and trainers have voted FASH Tri-States Horse Show of the Year for the last five years.

 Brett Jacobs, Kathy Boggs and Stephen Crabtree make up the three judge panel for Saddlebreds, Saddleseat Equitation, and Open classes. Brett Jacobs will judge Morgans and Stephen Crabtree will judge the Ponies. FASH not only features the UPHA Saddlebred Classics, along with some ASB and Morgan Jackpot classes, but will also be holding the new UPHA approved Equitation Prospect Horse Class. FASH continues to offer the Saddle & Bridle Working Western Class, along with a full schedule of the traditional Saddlebred, Morgan and Pony classes.

New this year is the AGStar Arena which is a 27,000 square foot structure with a 15,000 square foot oval ring that will be accessible as a warm-up area throughout the show. This new structure is attached to the existing horse barn and will include spectator area with up to 600 seats, new wash racks and portable stalls.

The Daily Publications programs will once again be available for each session and include the prior the sessions’ results. The Thursday morning ‘Special Addition’ to help promote the sale of horses on the grounds will be published once again. Listing for a ¼ page ad is free, but you must contact Heidi at [email protected] as soon as possible if you want a horse to be listed. All breeds and disciplines of horses may be advertised in this Special Edition which will be available throughout the show as well as on our website, www.fashinc.com.

Known for their hospitality, daily parties and activities, the All-volunteer show committee is excited be able to offer exhibitors the opportunity to win one of the Hand Sculpted Fine Art Solid Bronze trophies by Douwe Blumberg. The 3rd Annual Van Whoa art exhibition will feature over 30 horses again this year with proceeds once again benefiting the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation.
