Family Day At The American Saddlebred Musuem

The American Saddlebred Museum held its first Family Day celebration on Sunday, May 22. Families enjoyed an afternoon getting to know more about the American Saddlebred with a variety of activities including a scavenger hunt in the Museum’s newly renovated Elisabeth M. Goth History Wing, a story time and art activities.

There were several special visitors in attendance as well. American Saddlebreds from Wingswept Farm, WCC Kalarama’s Witness and WC Spin The Bottle, were on hand for a meet and greet with visitors and the Kentucky Horse Park’s Mounted Police dropped by to chat as well.

Visitors who were familiar with the breed, as well as those just learning about the American Saddlebred had a great day of fun! Thanks to everyone who participated.
