Engagement Announcement - Webb-Fawcett

Joe Webb and Cindy Fawcett

Cindy Fawcett and Joe Webb announced their recent engagement and plans for a small wedding ceremony in May of 2009. Webb currently lives in Westboro, Mass., is a graduate of Northeastern University, and received his MBA from Babson College. Webb is an assistant vice-president in the US Tax Department for John Hancock.

Fawcett lives in Northboro, Mass., and is the daughter of the late Paul and Gloria Fawcett.  She is a graduate of Bentley College and is a credit risk manager for Bankers Capital. Fawcett presently lives on and manages Appleway Farm, property that her family has farmed for 100 years.  While her ancestors raised apples and peaches, Cindy has horses on her farm, currently three Morgans, plus 150 apple trees, which are leased to a local apple farmer. Her Morgan show career highlight was earning the Reserve World Champion Amateur Park Saddle at the 2005 Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show with Fox Glen Hail to Divinity.

Webb and Fawcett ride with David and Kristen Cater of Cater Stables. Webb recently purchased the five-gaited show pleasure gelding In Between The Lines and will campaign him in 2008. Fawcett will borrow Webb’s other horse, Wicked Whispers, to show in the country pleasure and adult equitation divisions.
