The Canadian Road Horse Association sends its deepest condolences on behalf of its membership to the family of Elsie Shouldice , mother of Shirley Scharf. The Scharfs are long-time exhibitors in the Ottawa area.
Elsie Mae Shouldice (nee Russell) passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, June 7, 2007 in Kemptville District Hospital, in her 86th year. Loving wife of Howard Shouldice for sixty-three years. Dear mother of Shirley (Wayne Scharf), Lark Hodgins (Bob Perkins) and Wendy (Gordon Horne). Loving grandma of Kerri (Al Brown), Debbie (Joe Ivey); David Hodgins (Sue) and Courtney Horne. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren Shawn, Kendra, Cassidy and Tyler. Dear sister-in-law of Lois Guringer and dear aunt of Paige. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. If you wish to make a donation in memory of Elsie please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
