Ellen Beard Scheduled for UPHA 18 Clinic

UPHA Chapter 18 announces that by popular demand Ellen Beard will return as clinician and instructor for their annual Saddle Seat Riding Clinic at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Va. The clinic will be held March 11-12, offering private or group lessons and the option of bringing your own horse or riding a horse provided by one of the chapter members. Driving lessons are also available, and auditors are welcome. Beard, Coordinantor of Equestrian Operations at Stephens College, was extremely well received at last year's clinic and we are delighted that she has agreed to return for an encore appearance. Reservations should be made soon as space is limited and we hope the clinic will be sold out.   • Update on ASHBA Website

    Earlier today, we noticed that the server that supports the ASHBA database was experiencing a lot of activity. After a brief investigation, we discovered that certain parts of the system were being hit almost constantly and slowing down the server. This was leading to performance issues across the board. We pulled server logs and saw more than 77,000 requests for show results for this morning alone. Read More
