EASTCOAST EVENT Champions

The EASTCOAST EQUITATION EVENT took place on July 27 through the 30th at the Children’s Benefit Horse Show, Quentin, PA. The uniqueness and ambiance of the Quentin Riding Club grounds, plus the congeniality and cooperation of the management, contributed to a competitive, enjoyable show.  Kathy Boggs, Nancy Troutman and Ian Degruchy made up the judging panel for the three Finals; Adult, Junior Exhibitor and Walk/Trot.

The Champion Walk / Trot rider, Loewe Kasprenski is from Allentown, PA, and shows with the Wentz Stable.  The reserve Champion in this division was Morgan Billig from New Tripoli, PA, instructed by Nealia McCracken.

Kaitlyn Grom bested the field of Junior Exhibitors to become the Champion.  Kaitlyn is from Frenchtown, New Jersey and is instructed by Mike Richardson.  To keep it in the family, the Reserve Champion was Tara Grom.  These two girls had it all together in the big ring at Quentin.

Erin McCracken had a great ride to become the 2005 EEE Adult Champion.  The Reserve Champion was Kira Race.  Both riders are from Hardwick, New Jersey and both are instructed by Nealia McCracken.

The riders voted for the recipient of the Spirit of Excellence Trophy in each division.  This is a rider who demonstrates good sportsmanship and embraces the spirit of equitation.  Jessica Moctezuma was the winner of this award for the second year in the Junior Exhibitor division.  Jessica is instructed by Nealia McCracken.  Michaela Gillispie took home the Spirit of Excellence Award for the Walk/Trot riders.  Michaela rides with Darlene Trento-Wright.  Kira Race was the recipient in the Adult division.

The EASTCOAST EQUITATION EVENT Committee would like to thank everyone who made this year’s Final a success
