Devon Welcomes Back Saddlebred Official, Melissa Moore

Official Devon Horse Show Press Release:

DEVON, PA –Devon will be hosting the 119th Devon Horse Show & Country Fair, May 21-31, 2015, taking place at the historic Devon Horse Show Grounds in Devon, PA.

Devon has already begun to prepare for this coming May and is thrilled to announce that Melissa Moore will be returning to the 2015 Devon Horse Show & Country Fair! Melissa has officiated at top horse shows throughout the United States, including the Devon Horse Show and the World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
Peter Doubleday, one of the two managers of the Devon Horse Show stated, “Melissa Moore comes from a long standing and traditional "family" of top Saddlebred trainers in Kentucky. Her last name is synonymous with excellence in the Saddlebred industry…and we look forward to her return in 2015.”

Devon’s President Sarah Coxe Lange echoes his sentiments and is, “Pleased to have one of the best judges in the country here at Devon!”

Saddlebred and Hackney classes will begin May 27th and continue through May 30th at the 2015 Devon Horse Show & Country Fair.

  • Sunday Night Excitement

    With the Junior Exhibitor Park class being split, 14 events were held on the Sunday evening session, which started at 6:30 p.m. with the ASR Sweepstakes Four-Year-Old Fine Harness class. That class gave the general spectators their thrill for the night as Debbie Foley lost a wheel on her buggy and the horse got loose momentarily.
