Flashback to 1985 when Jean McLean Davis and CH Home Town Hero swept the amateur 3-gaited division in front of a large and enthusiastic Devon crowd. That same year they won amateur championships at Louisville and Lexington under the direction of George Knight. Home Town Hero was a homebred son of CH Yorktown and the great Denmark’s Bourbon Genius daughter Barham’s Reality. Tom Moore had already won Three-Gaited World’s Grand Championships with him in ’81 and '82.
