David Freedman to Host Equestrian Clinic at Stephens College




WHAT:
David Freedman, president of Freedman Harness, will provide a clinic for Equestrian students on the Stephens College campus. He will discuss the proper cleaning and maintenance of riding equipment, and the fitting of saddles and harnesses.

WHO: Freedman Harness is a long-time, family company headquartered in Canada that makes the saddles and reins for the Budweiser Clydesdales and the British Royal family’s horses.

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007

8:45 a.m.-11 a.m.: Practical theory, correct cleaning and maintenance of equipment
11 a.m.-noon: Saddle fitting, construction and fit
1-2 p.m.: Lecture on family niche in the horse business
2-3 p.m.: Harness fitting

WHERE: Stephens College Stables, 201 Old Hwy 63 N. (except the horse business lecture, which will be held in Charters Auditorium, 1405 E. Broadway)

Please note: When arriving at the Stephens Stables, all visitors are required to check in at the office.
