Date set for Bluegrass Futurity 2003 Stallion Auction



The 2003 Bluegrass Futurity Stallion will be held February 1, 2003 at The Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky. The event will begin at 6:00pm in the Phoenix Room which is on the 4th floor of the grandstand. Cocktails will be served from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with a cash bar and Dinner will be served at 7:00. The cost of the evening is $25.00 per person.

The inaugural class for The Bluegrass Futurity limited weanling stake was held at The Kentucky Fall Classic and history was made when the class gave away over $103,000 in prize money. These weanlings are eligible if properly nominated to show in the yearling class to be held at The Kentucky Fall Classic in 2003. The prize money for that class is approximately $20,000. depending on nominations. The 2003 weanling class will give away approximately $85,000. This is a great program to promote breeding of The American Saddlebred and to give money back to the breeders of these great animals. Please be apart of this years auction by donating a stud fee and purchasing a breeding to be eligible for the 2004 weanling stake, 2005 yearling stake and 2006 two-year-old fine harness stake.
