What Is A Contender?

are all horses, ponies, and equitation riders who win a blue ribbon during the current show season in classes that qualify for Saddle Horse Report's Highpoint Report. Current Contenders can be found under the "Showcase" heading on this web site. The Contenders lists are updated each time a new set of show results is posted.

Doesn't your Contender deserve to be on the World Wide Web? Only those horses/ponies/riders whose names are in the Contenders section qualify to have an online Contenders ad. Your 2006 ad in The Saddle Horse Report or Horse World can be converted to creative web site advertising for a very modest price. You can even create an Internet Contender ad from scratch without placing a print ad first.

When a Contender ad is posted, a link to your ad ("VIEW OUR AD") will show up beside the horse/pony/rider's name every time the name shows up in the Show Results/Contender Section/High Point Standings on the SHR web site.

With SHR Online receiving nearly 60,000 hits per day, your ad will be noticed, and it will stay posted on SHR Online until the beginning of next year's show season.

It's not too late to place your Contender ad before Louisville!

To find out more or to place your Contender ad, contact Susan Harris, SHR Online Editor at (336) 722-0242 (phone), (336) 749-4681 (cell), or e-mail
