Clara Flor Passes Away

Clara Jane (Krause) Flor passed away Sunday, May 29th following a long bout with cancer.  She finished the course set before her with the same boldness with which she faced life - with determination, faith, and her husband Doug at her side.

Doug is very appreciative of the love and care expressed these past several weeks.  Clara never wavered concerning the cancer she bravely fought these nine years. Even recently, she got up early every day, gave the day her best, and did it with a positive mindset.

Arrangements for the celebration of Clara's life are at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, in Peachtree City, GA, (770) 487-6499, on Saturday, June 4th at 11:00am with a reception to follow.

While Clara really enjoyed caring for and receiving flowers, she has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: The Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund, 4059 Iron Works Parkway, Suite 2, Lexington, KY  40511, (859) 231-5070.

The Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund is a 501(c)(3) charity aimed at providing financial assistance to horse trainers in need.
