Cheers to Helen and Bill Crawford!

Helen and Bill Crawford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party hosted in their honor on February 5, 2005. Carolyn Crawford Dillon organized the party at the Crawford family's lovely Boston Morgan Farm in Murrieta, California.

A festive group of 70 joined in the Saturday afternoon celebration. The well-wishers included friends and family from all over the country. Many longtime friends from the Morgan industry mingled with family members as well as one groomsman from the wedding.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the catered event which featured great food and drink and a popular chocolate fountain. The winter rains in California subsided on Saturday afternoon long enough for everyone to enjoy the Crawford's backyard where World Champion Tug Hill Whamunition made a special appearance to pose with all of the attendees from the party. World Champion announcer Bill Carrington made a lovely toast to Helen and Bill and also related some touching moments from the great show ring career of Tug Hill Whamunition.

Guests visited the newly completed show barn, visited with the horses and admired the fabulous surroundings of Boston Morgan Farm. The celebration continued the next day as a stretch limousine picked up the Crawfords and some of their guests for a day of wine tasting at some of the nearby wineries. Cheers to Helen and Bill Crawford!
