CH Moraine’s Question Mark Passes Away at 32

A longtime Wisconsin fan favorite, CH Moraine’s Question Mark passed away last November at the age of 32. Bred by Mr. and Mrs. Hal Jungbluth, Moraine’s Question Mark was by another Wisconsin superstar, CH Greenway Commander. The bright chestnut gelding with the question mark-shaped white spot on his forehead was out of My Irish Melody, by Wing’s Fleet Admiral. He was a full brother to CH Night Fever, a Five-Gaited Pleasure Reserve World’s Champion of Champions.

Owned and loved for the last 28 years of his life by Lee-Mar Farms, he will be missed by the only girl to show this horse with a heart of gold, Dee Dee Marzocco (Mackie). He was also a favorite of Dee Dee’s mother, Joan Marzocco, and trainer Grant Herrman. His biggest moments came in the final two years of Dee Dee’s junior exhibitor career. In 1987, he was the Junior Exhibitor Five-Gaited Reserve World’s Champion of Champions, returning the next year to capture the Minton Memorial as the Junior Exhibitor Five-Gaited World’s Champion of Champions.
