CH Kalarama's Twister Passes Away

World’s Champion CH Kalarama’s Twister has passed away at the age of 11. Owned and shown by Suzanne Wright, Kalarama’s Twister was trained by John Whalen. The son of Tornaado (SA) and Springtime In Harlem, by Harlem Globetrotter, he began his career with Kalarama Farm, taking a Reserve World’s Championship in the ASR National Three-Year-Old Three-Gaited Futurity with Larry Hodge. A year later, he won the Amateur Gentlemen’s Three-Gaited World’s Championship as just a four-year-old with David Rudder.

Kalarama’s Twister would go on to team with Cindy Hettinger-Carcione to be crowned the 2010 Three-Gaited Show Pleasure World’s Champion of Champions. Teamed with Suzanne Wright the following year, Twister would win 13 times in 2011 and seven more this season. His final victory pass came with Suzanne Wright at the 2012 Clemson Fall Classic as the Amateur/Junior Exhibitor Three-Gaited Park winner.

He will be missed by Suzanne Wright and the entire Chestnut Lane Stables team.
