CH Fiasco Succumbs to Heart Failure

CH Fiasco, the first ever Western Country Pleasure World’s Champion of Champions died of heart failure September 13th at Michael Craghead Stables in Fresno, California. The big, beautiful bay gelding set the standard for the Western country pleasure division with Doug Glick.

CH Fiasco’s show career began as a yearling and he had wins in several different divisions with several different exhibitors but from the time the Michael Glick family purchased him in 1996, he and Doug Glick were unstoppable. They won titles at shows all over the country under Craghead’s direction and after making \ Saddlebred history in 2006, they returned to Louisville in 2007 and were crowned the Western Country Pleasure World’s Champion of Champions and world’s champions.

CH Fiasco was sired by Chubasco and out of Gift Certificate. He was bred by Katherine Lambert. A tribute to the popular gelding will appear in a later issue of Saddle Horse Report.
