Charles D. Smith Celebration of Life

Everyone is invited to Celebrate the Life of Charlie Smith and his beloved wife, Peggy. Both are dearly missed by not just all the family members but every single person whom they both met together and individually.
Charlie, passed away on May 12th, 2019, Mother’s Day, and Peggy passed on August 21st, 2015. They both shared a commonality of two loves, the American Saddlebred and of each other, which lasted throughout each other’s lives.
The surviving family members of Charles D Smith (86), Charlie as he was commonly known and Margaret (Peggy) (85) will hold a Celebration of Life for both Charlie and Peggy, his wife of more than 64 years. Please join us on Thursday August 22nd, 2019, in Louisville, Kentucky during the World Championship Horse Show. The event is being held at the Saddlebred Cafe in the North End Wing of the Expo Center near the stables and horse vendors: 11AM till 3PM.
The Celebration of Life is open to family and friends to share a little food, drink and those fond memories of an amazing couple, Charlie and Peggy.
The family requests that in place of flowers that contributions be made to the UPHA and/or American Saddlebred Museum located in Lexington, Kentucky.
