Celebration at Lenux Stables

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.— Brooke and Quintus VanderSpuy of Lenux Stables and Riding Academy hosted their annual Holiday Party on Dec. 16, 2006. The barn was packed with show and academy riders of all ages along with their families. During the party the children enjoyed arts and crafts while the adults took time to sit down and relax while they enjoyed visiting with each other.

Numerous awards were presented to the academy riders who had represented Lenux Stables throughout the show season. The show riders were then presented with awards as their accomplishments of the successful show season were read.
After the awards were distributed, a special appearance was made by none other than jolly old St. Nick. To the delight of all in attendance, his sleigh was guided by CH Herculean instead of his customary eight tiny reindeer. The children were so excited, not only to see Santa Claus at their barn Christmas party, but to see one of their favorite lesson horses, “Herc,” pulling Santa and his sleigh.
