Cavanaugh joins Old Orchard Farm

Posted February 8, 2002 Old Orchard Farm has announced the appointment of Jessica Cavanaugh as assistant trainer. Cavanaugh joins the South Lyon, Michigan stable under the direction of owner/trainers Sandy and Calvin Sessink. Jessica is the daughter of Morgan trainer, Susan Martin, who hails from the Frederick, Maryland area. Jessica has grown up in the horse business, showing horses for her mother, as well as catch-riding for numerous other trainers from the Morgan and Saddle Horse world which has given her the kind of background that will serve her well in her new position.
