Carson Kressley in the spotlight again

Former U.S. World Cup Team member and USAE (formerly known as the AHSA) Morgan/Saddlebred liaison and a longtime Saddlebred exhibitor, Carson Kressley has reached new heights in his career with the start of a new television show called “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy “. The show is about five gay men, affectionately known as the Fab Five, who give a straight man a much-needed makeover from a gay man's point of view. Kressley's duties on the show as fashion savant include helping the poorly attired men achieve a new sense of style. "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is sponsored by the Bravo network and airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST.

Kressley is a graduate of Gettysburg College with degrees in Finance and Fine Art. He got his start as an independent fashion stylist. His unique fashion sense eventually landed him a position with Polo Ralph Lauren in New York. Kressley worked on a team of men's sportswear designers, and has now moved into the corporate advertising ranks. There he is responsible for the national retail advertising campaigns as well as the European men's fashion shows. He has also worked extensively styling catalogs for such retailers as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and Sax Fifth Avenue as well as working on editorial and film shoots.
