Candids of the Week - The American Royal





Roseridge’s Dancing Soldier and Elizabeth Ghareeb earned the unanimous victory in the Ladies Five-Gaited Gelding qualifier on Tuesday night at the UPHA/American Royal.


During Wednesday matinee in Kansas City, Tiffany Wheeler and Dr. Owen Weaver celebrated Weaver’s Adult Five-Gaited Show Pleasure 39 & Over win aboard Fox Grape’s Sierra Madre.  


Undulata’s Mister Machine and Lauren Miller had the winning ride in the Adult Three-Gaited Show Pleasure 39 & Over qualifier at the UPHA/American Royal under the direction of Tommy Benton and Kendall Blue.


After winning the 2014 UPHA 10 & Under Walk-And-Trot Challenge Cup National Championship, Alayna Applegate topped the 2015 UPHA Junior Challenge Cup National Championship.  It was an extra special win as Applegate was aboard the borrowed horse Mocha’s Mudslide.  She was joined by her instructor/trainer Shelley Fisher after the win.  


CH Who and Cathy Rogers Holmes topped the competitive Show Pleasure Driving qualifier during Thursday’s matinee session in Kansas City under the Cater Stables banner.
 


UPHA Senior Challenge Cup Finals Reserve National Champion Aleia Brown and Erin Reese photo bombed UPHA Senior Challenge Cup Finals National Champion Courtney McGinnis following their winning rides Thursday night at the UPHA/American Royal National Championship Horse Show.




Molly Crim was joined by Bill and Lisa Waller after unanimously winning the UPHA 10 & Under Walk-and-Trot Challenge Cup National Championship.

John and Charlotte Wrather had a great Friday night in Kansas City.  John won the Amateur Hackney Pony Championship with CH Heartland Globe-Trotter early in the session followed by Charlotte’s win with Seamair Sensation in the Amateur Harness Pony Championship.



Molly Codeanne, Cameron Kay and Courtney McGinnis shared the spotlight after a three rider workout in the USEF Medal National Final. Codeanne was awarded the silver medal, and in their final senior equitation performances, Kay took the gold while stablemate McGinnis was the bronze medalist.
