Melissa Moore topped the Harness Pony Championship at Lexington with Go Daddy for Brenda Rappaport. Under the direction of team Zubrod, Maisie Benfield won the Junior Saddle Seat Equitation Championship on Friday on The Red Mile. Kay Marschel made three victory passes on The Red Mile under the direction of Rich and Maureen Campbell. She swept the Hackney pony pleasure driving division with Bvlgari and won the junior class with UPHA Hackney Pony Pleasure Driving Classic with Prive. Katie Sinclair and Something Is In The Heir won Santa Barbara’s Walk and Trot Equitation and challenge cup classes, from J.L. Dixon Stable, in their first show out of academy. Fair Hills Captain America and Mike Aponte won Santa Barbara’s Three-Year-Old Fine Harness class for Maynard and Linda Brittan. I’m In Heaven and Madison Stringer marched down victory lane in the 14-17 Three-Gaited Championship. Riding under the direction of Erin and Reese Richey they also topped the qualifier.
