Calvary Episcopal Charity Horse Show Was a Great Success in 2007
Sunday, December 23, 2007
The 17th Annual Calvary Episcopal Charity Horse Show, held in Columbia, Missouri in mid-October, was a smashing success, with increased entries and superb quality in all classes. Just before Christmas, that success translated into tangible assistance for those in need. The net profits of the show, $30,000 in all, were divided equally among the four recipients - Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center, Family Dental Center, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and the food pantry of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church.
The success of this show is due, in large part, to the incredible generosity of the equestrian community. For that, the horse show committee and management is eternally grateful.
Be sure to attend the 2008 edition of the Calvary Episcopal Charity Horse Show scheduled for October 16-19. For information contact show manager Lenard Davenport at (417) 861-9192 or e-mail: lendavenport@prodigy.net.
